Finally I am back on the net. I had been away for a bit (2 weeks) and was hoping that I would make it in time
to do the blog hop and guess what?? I did =)
Sarah from Saturday Sequins is hosting her first blog hop.
I love crafting and stuff and really have not gotten a chance to make anything revolving sequins.
I had been wanting to make some ornaments for Christmas for a while now.
The templates I made are not exactly what I envisioned, but they came out great.
I am still working on a few of them, so I will be posting the ones I finished.
I decided to make snowflakes and Christmas trees.
Here are the flakes
I loved the silver but wanted to switch it up with some color...
This resulted in.......
All together....
I was not sure if I liked the red back ground, and being a newbie still to the whole
photo taking scene, I changed it up a bit and tried the white background.
Ugh..... too dark.
I guess more practicing is in my future.. lol
Now for my trees, because I don't want to leave them out....
I just need to add the sequins and I will update those looks hopefully tomorrow or Monday.
So that is what I did with the sequins...
Here is a list of everyone who joined in the fun.
Have a great weekend..

Very cute!
ReplyDeleteCute ornaments!! I can't wait to see how the tree looks when it's finished -- it's adorable so far.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you could participate! Thanks for joining us. :)
Love the ornaments! Those trees are going to be soo cute. You could make a white twig tree with just the snowflakes on it, that would be really cute.
ReplyDeleteThe snowflakes are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteLove your snowflakes!
ReplyDeletegreat idea to make ornaments ... I have lots left over at my house --- perhaps that's what I can do with all these sparkly things lying around my bead table!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute ornaments! The sparkly sequins looks very good against the soft felt.
ReplyDeleteThose trees promise to be really cute. What a good idea to start on Christmas decorations now (I always leave these things till the last minute).
ReplyDeleteFun! I love handmade ornaments, especially the sparkly kind!
ReplyDeleteOoh, the white snowflakes with the silver sequins are too cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I look forward to seeing the ornaments :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the finished product. One year my youngest daughter and I made all our decorations for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOooh Christmas fever :) love it!
ReplyDeleteHow very sweet are those!? Honestly, I would have never thought to do ornaments-Just goes to show you I think I need to think outside the jewelry-making box! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou did a lovely job on all your ornaments :)
Thanks for linking up to Work It Wednesday! I hope you'll link up again soon!
What a super cute idea!! For some reason, these remind me of my childhood and I cannot pin down why. . .I don't remember any sequins on our Christmas tree. I think it's your felt templates that have me nostalgic. My mom made our ornaments out of construction paper. They had been intended to be felt and sequins, but we didn't even have enough money for the felt, so she used paper. We still have some of those ornaments to this day! Thank you for that bit of a walk down memory lane!
