What a day it has been.
I have a few bags of mismatched earrings and jewelry from
thrift shopping that I haven't gone through just yet.
I had forgotten that I had thrown in some items that were just lying around.
One of the items, was the very first piece of jewelry that I ever made for a blog hop.
I couldn't stop laughing because of the way I had joined the links and beads
together.
Seriously with wire wrapped around the back of the link.
The only thing I did get right with that piece was that the
wire went through the bead hole.
Here it is....
Anyhow, I just wanted to share my first piece with y'all.
Have a great week!!

You had a nice concept with that first piece and at least you tried! We all have to start somewhere! I always enjoy seeing your thrift finds. 😊
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary. Yes I did try my hardest with that piece. I wanted others to think I knew what I was doing. LOL I will be posting more thrift store finds in the future :)
DeleteWe all started somewhere! The idea is very pretty. I have a pile of necklaces I need to take apart to recover the beads from my early days. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am going to be doing that too with the older stuff I made... It just sits... Have a great day!!
DeleteIsn't it crazy to look back on those first pieces and realize how much you've learned and grown? Thanks for sharing yours with us!
ReplyDeleteYes I can not believe how much I have grown as an artist and I am loving it. Have a great day!!
