Beaded Earrings

I love reading other blogs because not only do I learn
from them, but I get to try them out as well.
Today I was reading Crafty Hope's blog post on
making a wire frame and beaded earrings from those frames.

I have tried several times to make these earrings before
and failed miserably lol
I was not sure about trying another time, but Hope made it look so
easy, I just had to try.
And I am glad I did.
I learned some techniques on not only the frames, but wrapping the beads as well.

Here are the colors I chose.

And here is how they turned out.....

I still have some work to do on keeping the frame unbent lol
but for my first completed try,
I'll take it..

Thanks Hope for  your post.
Everyone go check out here blog at

Have a great weekend and don't forget....
turn those clocks ahead.

I'm A Winner! Where's My Chicken Dinner??

Last month I entered a contest that  Crafty Hope was putting on.
I won!
So I wanted to show you the prize and say thank you to Hope.
I was going to do this sooner, but had the flu and just
couldn't get out of bed.

 My prize.

I just love her handmade Thank You cards.

Thank you so much Hope.
I really love the ornament and have it displayed over my crafting area for inspiration.

Have a great day!

Morning Routines and Your Health

This afternoon when I had gotten home from work,
I sat down to catch up on some blogs and Facebook pages that I religiously follow.
Hope at Crafty Hope
shared a blog post from theeverygirl.com.
It was titled

It immediately grabbed my attention due to the fact that I have been eating healthier and exercising more along with finally getting my thyroid meds regulated.
I have lost 25 pounds in the past 6 months which is huge for someone with
thyroid issues.
Weight loss has always been some sort of demon for me.
Anyhow, I read the post and have to say that I do most of the things on the list before 7 A.M.
Whether or not it has to do with my latest weight loss,
it is a pretty great way to start off your day.

What I already do before 7 A.M. is
drink a big glass of water
eat a healthy breakfast
make my bed
connect with someone I love
clean one area
make a to-do list
move my body.. I was 3 miles a day.

So do you have a morning routine?? Do you think you will try any of these things??
Let me know what you think.

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend.
