Review: Waterfall Effect

Waterfall Effect Waterfall Effect by K.K. Allen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first read from K.K. Allen. When I received the ARC, I was excited because I have been wanting to read her books for a while now. Why did I wait so long? Waterfall Effect had me saying Whoa like a few times. I mean how many books do you read that you get goosebumps from the prologue?? This is not only a story about true love. I think the saying, if you love someone set them free, if they love you they will come back fits it to a T. I instantly fell in love with all of the characters. Aurora is such a strong woman and I don't think she was able to realize it until she came back to Balsam Grove. I could feel the connection with her and Jaxon from the beginning. What an amazing love story that continued even while they were apart, while neither of them realized it. I love K.K's writing style. I connected with the characters and could feel what they were feeling. While this story did have its twists and turns. I was shocked. Definitely one of the best reads of this year. Grab your copy when it comes out Feb. 28...

Review: Forever & Always

Forever & Always Forever & Always by Jasinda Wilder
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Forever & Always (The Ever Trilogy #1)
Book 1 in trilogy.

I really don't even know where to begin... What a freaking roller coaster. I think I felt every kind of emotion and then some. This story begins at a summer camp and ends in a wft moment. How can you just leave me hanging like this and end a story so abruptly. Ugh!
Caden and Ever's love story is one that kind of nauseating. I am all for true love and I felt their connection, but there were a few moments I was like please stop. Tragedy after tragedy after tragedy is what brought these two together. Let's see how this love story is going to end.

Review: The Iron Tiara

The Iron Tiara The Iron Tiara by Beth Flynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Is there anything that Beth Flynn writes that is mediocre? Not in my opinion. She is amazing and it shows here in the spin off of the Nine Minutes Trilogy. I did not think I could fall in love with another biker after meeting Grizz, but I was sadly mistaken. Anthony grabbed my heart from the moment he laid eyes on Christy. And watching their story unfold was more than I expected. Beth writes in a way that grabs your attention and never lets go.

Bad Mommy Review

When Fig Coxbury buys a house on West Barrett Street,
it's not because she likes the neighborhood,
or even because she likes the house.
It's because everything she desires is next door:
The husband, the child, and the life that belongs to someone else.

Now let me tell you...
Every once in a while you come across a book that makes you think
WTF?
This is definitely one of those.
At first I thought there was something wrong with me for loving Fig
as much as I did.
And maybe there is.
I loved all the characters in the story.
Darius really threw me for a loop and
I was hoping Ryan could have scored.

I am very new to Tarryn's work and love her style of writing.
I really don't want to use the word creepy, but
dayum.
I think what set this book apart from any other books I have read is the fact
that as I am reading the last line of the story,
I got a huge case of the goosebumps.
Which has never happened......EVER.

I give this book 5 sea glass pieces.
Check it out.

Have a great night!
