Challenge of Travel Blog Hop

The Island of Samoa

When I think of Samoa, I automatically think of WWE wrestling.. LOL
Seriously.. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Samoa Joe, Umaga
But after reading  a bit, I found that the people are very giving people and love to
use a lot of coral, abalone, tortoise shell and mother of pearl when making just about anything.
Here is what I came up with.

(My photos do not do them justice.. Something I need to work on)

  1. NIce earrings~ I had to laugh at your image of Samoa, it always makes me think of the Girl Scout cookie :-) One suggestion is to take your pics against a neutral white or khaki background. It helps keep the focus on your beautiful work.

  5. Mischelle, I'm glad you didn't have to "wrestle" with your design LOL. Seriously, the abalone and bright green beads are so perfect to celebrate this beautiful land. I, too, struggle with taking good photos. I look at a lot of blogs for photo ideas, and try to imitate the more experienced designers. Don't forget some of them have efficient set-ups for photography, not to mention lots of practice put in, with hundreds of photos under their belts. Everything improves with time!
